FAQ

Common questions.

Is attendance free?

Yes. Attendance is free for all participants. Accommodation and food are at attendees' own expense, except that meals during ThermoJam (the Saturday coding jam) are included free for jam participants.

Do prices include VAT?

No. Sponsorship prices are in GBP and exclude VAT, which will be added where applicable.

Can we combine a tier with add-ons?

Yes. Add-ons can be taken with any tier or on their own.

Do you share the attendee list?

No. We do not sell or share a full attendee list. At registration, attendees are offered a separate opt-in for each sponsor with recruiting access. Sponsors receive contact details only for attendees who have opted in to contact from that sponsor, for use in line with UK GDPR. Attendees may withdraw consent at any time.

How do newsletter placements work?

Who decides the coding jam winners?

A judging panel scores entries against criteria published with the challenges before the coding jam begins. The panel includes judges appointed by the organisers and the sponsor nominees named in the tier table.

When do we need to commit?

Sponsors commit by Monday 30 November 2026. Slots are allocated in the order in which commitments are received.
